25+ seeds

This beautiful, nectar-rich flower, with its warm, vibrant orange hues, is a true delight for the eyes and brings any garden to life.

Highly valued in traditional natural medicine, this edible flower produces blooms measuring 3–5 cm across and offers many benefits while nourishing bees and other pollinators in your garden. Calendula is an herbaceous annual native to the Mediterranean, treasured since ancient times for its many uses, including in the kitchen. In the garden, it helps deter pests such as aphids, supporting a healthier vegetable patch and flower garden.

In the kitchen, the dried petals have long been used as a substitute for saffron to colour food and garnish dishes, adding a golden-yellow hue to homemade butter, rice, and baked goods.

💐🌿 All our seeds are carefully collected and selected by hand from flowers grown exclusively on Canadian flower farms and in our own garden. They are grown using 100% organic and natural methods, with respect for nature, without pesticides or chemicals, and are non-GMO.
